We grow “ Sojourning Tea” a refined, aromatic, and soothing Botanical Tea blend that is perfect for mindful moments of relaxation for well-being.

Dates and Times are listed under the “Registration” tab. Our vignettes showcase garden designers, botanical authors, artists, poets, and writers. The food offering is Botanically inspired.
Our Botanical Tea is a literary sojourn evoking the sense of place and purpose of our Sensory Botanical Tea Garden. The comfort of Tea and Garden Books provides a plant-rich experience for journaling and sojourning. We travel to literary gardens through books, tours and menus, while gaining appreciation for the art of the well-being garden lifestyle.
Sensory Gardening offers a gentle invitation to move through seasons of change in our life, and in nature. It's a thoughtful, aesthetic, and intentional approach to gardening, or experiencing a place that aids in nourishing our system and nurturing our nature. Engaging our senses (sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste) promotes a feeling of well-being.
We're a place where people can enjoy designing their own (inner or outer) garden sanctuary, a restorative space with ease, charm, and grace. As a collective gathering of creative powers, we appreciate the beauty of flowers and teatime hours. Emphasizing bringing botanical touches to the garden, the home, table, and workspace, our shared knowledge, skills, and resources support an enriched learning space.

Our Tearoom is our Garden Club, Beatrix Potter inspired.
Our garden planning begins in December, at this time we reflect upon the extraordinary life, legacy, and gifts of Beatrix Potter an Artist, Author, Scientist, Gardener, Farmer, Preservationist, and Entrepreneur.
Beatrix Potter, a woman living in the Victorian and Edwardian times was far ahead of her time. It wasn't customary for a woman to do research at Kew Gardens as a scientist, or to earn money by publishing your own books or selling greetings cards. She not only achieved these things, but she become a savvy businesswoman buying land in the Lake District. In addition to becoming a successful farmer, she established a welcoming rural Tearoom for hospitality and additional farm income.
Beatrix Potter was educated at home by several governesses (customary in families of her class). . She was an eager student of languages and literature. She grew up loving classic folk and fairy tales. Beatrix received a variety of art lessons and she wrote imaginatively about her many pets. She drew with fine, detailed, accuracy that would later mark Beatrix Potter as a distinguished naturalist.
Her story inspires our work.
Our Garden Club is experiential learning, botanical-style, a Competency-Based Education (CBE) by experience, natural interests, and talents.
Botanical Arts -- we are plated culinary artists of flowers, herbs, and fungi.
Botanical Writing - we offer a Botanical Library and encourage journaling
Science - we support plant-science for education, well-being, and inclusion
Gardening - we're earth and water gardeners for beauty, well-being, and for wildlife
Farming - we support local farmers and work to preserve farmland
Preservation- we're invested... National Trust, Katy Trail, and Old Farm Rd.
Entrepreneurship -- we are botanical artists, producers, artisan makers, and operate our sensory gardens, botanical library and tearoom.
Culinary Herb School Botanical Style is a practice that can deepen our relationship with nature, encourage us to eat outside, plant a garden, enjoy visiting parks and gardens, engage in botanical walks, and to enjoy tea and botanical books with like-minded friends.
