    About Us

    Slow Food Chef's Alliance

Penelope Beache, is a member of  the Slow Food Chefs' Alliance --- a network uniting chefs around the  world who are committed to defending and celebrating biodiversity, food  traditions, local cultures, and artisanal food producers. Chefs have a  fundamental role to play in safeguarding the biological and cultural  diversity of our food.

They interpret the histories and ecosystems of their region with skill and creativity, supporting local producers  while awakening eaters to the role we all play as custodians of  biodiversity.

    Special Events

We are a sustainable farm, with vintage charm -- in the forest.  Contact us to book your small-scale business meeting, special event, or tour.

    Seasonal and Local

The Vintage Homesteader Farm is home to the Botanical TEA Room.  We grow food onsite for our menu, and source ingredients from local, sustainable, earth friendly business networks.
